Why dive here
With 157+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, dolphins, dwarf minke whales, humpback whales and mobula rays (devil rays) - Le Tell offers some of Marseille & Calanques's richest diving. Water ranges 14-25°C, warmest July, August, September.
Le Tell is a straightforward dive, often a good second dive of the day in the Calanques. You'll drop onto a rocky reef, usually finding moray eels tucked into crevices and small groups of damselfish over the shallower parts. It's a relaxed spot, decent for less experienced divers looking for an easy potter around without much current to worry about.
