With 157+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, dolphins, dwarf minke whales, humpback whales and mobula rays (devil rays) - Les Trompettes offers some of Marseille & Calanques's richest diving. Water ranges 14-25°C, warmest July, August, September.
Les Trompettes is one of those reliable spots, perfect for getting back in the water after a break or for newer divers. The maximum depth of 17 meters means you don't have to worry about deco limits, leaving more time to simply cruise around. We've often spent a good hour here, spotting moray eels tucked into crevices and small schools of damselfish flitting through the posidonia seagrass. It’s a good, easy dive, usually sheltered, and a nice way to spend an afternoon when you’re not chasing something bigger.
