With 157+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, dolphins, dwarf minke whales, humpback whales and mobula rays (devil rays) - Passy offers some of Marseille & Calanques's richest reef diving. Water ranges 14-25°C, warmest July, August, September.
Passy offers a comfortable dive, usually with mild currents, making it a good choice for newer divers or those looking for a relaxed time underwater. You’ll navigate around large rock formations and some sandy patches where we often spot octopus or small groups of damselfish. It’s not the most dramatic dive in the Calanques, but it’s reliably pleasant, a solid option for a second dive of the day.
