Piton - Marseille & Calanques
Piton is a solid intermediate dive, a pinnacle that rises from the seabed just off the coast of Marseille. We’ve found the top sits around 12 meters, dropping down to a sandy bottom at 28 meters. It’s not a drift dive usually, but there can be a little current sometimes, nothing crazy. You'll often see schools of barracuda circling, and we’ve spotted moray eels tucked into the crevices. For divers comfortable with their buoyancy and looking for a relaxed, straightforward dive, Piton is a good pick.
