With 157+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, dolphins, dwarf minke whales, humpback whales and mobula rays (devil rays) - Pointe du vaisseau offers some of Marseille & Calanques's richest diving. Water ranges 14-25°C, warmest July, August, September.
Pointe du Vaisseau is a straightforward wall dive in the Calanques. We usually drop onto a plateau around 10 meters before the wall slopes down to about 30 meters. You’ll spot plenty of Mediterranean nudibranchs and small scorpionfish tucked into crevices. It’s a reliable spot for a relaxed dive, good for photographers keen on macro subjects without strong currents.
