Roche d'Aurelle - Marseille & Calanques

Roche d'Aurelle is a gentle introduction to diving in the Calanques, perfect for those just getting their fins wet. The site caps out around 22 meters, so you've got plenty of bottom time to explore the rocky slopes and the small caves that dot the seafloor. We often spot octopus tucked into crevices here, along with moray eels peeking out from their hidey-holes. It's a relaxed dive, no strong currents to contend with, and a good spot to build confidence before tackling some of the deeper, more exposed sites in the area.
