Source de Marnade - Marseille & Calanques
Source de Marnade offers a cool freshwater surprise in the Mediterranean. We found the thermocline to be quite distinct as we descended, with cooler, clearer water pushing up from below. Keep an eye out for nudibranchs and small crabs clinging to the rocky walls where the fresh and saltwater meet. This site is best suited for divers looking for something a bit different, perhaps on a warmer day.
