TANTINE - Marseille & Calanques
The Tantine is a proper little tugboat, sitting upright and mostly intact on a flat sandy bottom at 48 metres. She’s not massive, just over 18 metres long, which makes her manageable for an hour-long dive, even with the decompression. We’ve found her wheelhouse is usually the main draw, often swarming with damselfish and occasionally a shy conger eel peering out. Down in the engine room, you can poke around some of the machinery, now home to colourful nudibranchs and sea slugs. It's a solid wreck dive for those comfortable with deeper profiles and looking for a relaxed exploration rather than strong currents or massive pelagics.
