The France Wreck, lying off the coast of Marseille, is a classic Mediterranean wreck dive. We usually find its bow sitting upright, providing a good reference point as you descend into the blue. Expect to see some decent penetration opportunities for properly trained wreck divers, with light often filtering in through various openings. Schools of damselfish shimmer around the superstructure, and octopuses are often tucked into crevices. It’s a solid pick for divers comfortable with deeper wrecks and keen to explore a piece of history.
