IntroDive - Alonissos Marine Park
The team at IntroDive in Alonissos Marine Park really understands how to make diving feel personal. They’re not about pushing divers through quickly, instead, they focus on proper training, whether you’re just starting with PADI or pushing into technical and sidemount skills. We love that they’ve built a place that feels more like a club than a shop, where you can actually chat through dives over a coffee. Alonissos itself is special, the kind of place where you get a real sense of history beneath the waves. Diving with IntroDive means exploring some surprisingly intact wrecks, like the Peristera, which is just incredible. You’ll see amphorae still scattered across the seabed, a proper journey back in time. On our last trip, we had some fantastic moments with schooling barracuda, and the occasional loggerhead turtle gliding past. We’d suggest going in early summer, before the crowds, when the water is warm but visibility is still at its best, often pushing 30 metres. The currents are generally mild here, making for relaxed dives, perfect for honing those new sidemount skills or just enjoying a longer bottom time.
