Mesta Chios Diving Center - Alonissos Marine Park

Okay, so Mesta Chios Diving Center. It's a spot we know in Alonissos Marine Park that delivers a consistently pleasant dive. You're not going to find dramatic drop-offs, but what you will get is a gentle exploration, often with excellent light filtering through. We’ve seen quite a few Rhomboid Sweepers here, those shimmering schools really catch the eye, along with the distinct shapes of Bottleneck Sea Cucumbers dotting the seabed. It’s also one of the better places we’ve encountered Mediterranean Feather Stars and the Variable Loggerhead Sponge, adding some nice colour to the substrate. It’s a comfortable dive, making it a good choice if you're looking for an easy second dive of the day, or just want to relax and observe the smaller inhabitants of the Med.
