Popeye Diving Center Thassos - Alonissos Marine Park

Now, the Popeye site is a solid choice when you're diving out of Alonissos. We’ve always found it to be a reliable spot for a relaxed dive, especially if you’re looking for something that isn’t too demanding. Keep an eye out for those Common Spiny Lobsters tucked into the crevices, and the Wrinkled Swimming Crabs scuttling across the seabed. The Pink Sea Fans provide a nice splash of colour against the rock, and we often spot Salema and black sea bream cruising by in small schools. It’s a good easy dive to fill an afternoon, suitable for most skill levels.
