St. Nicholas Beach Diving Center - Alonissos Marine Park

St. Nicholas Beach, home to the local dive center, offers a convenient shore dive in the Alonissos Marine Park. We found it a pretty mellow spot, good for getting reacquainted with your gear or for newer divers. The sandy bottom gently slopes, and you'll spot plenty of Mediterranean regulars like parrotfish, painted comber, and ornate wrasse darting between the rocks. Dusky groupers often lurk in the crevices, and we’ve even seen loggerhead turtles meandering through the seagrass beds. It’s not a thrill-seeker's dive, but it's a solid, easy entry into the local underwater world, especially if you're staying nearby.
