TRINITY 52 - Alonissos Marine Park

The Trinity, a luxury yacht, went down in '79 after an explosion, and now sits bolt upright on a sandy bottom at 35 metres. It’s a proper ship, not just a pile of planks. We love how intact it is, allowing you to swim around the entire deck and peer into the cabins. You’ll spot schools of bright damselfish flitting through the superstructure, and often a grumpy grouper lurking under the bow. Keep an eye out for nudibranchs on the railings, too. This isn't a strong current site, but the depth means it’s best for Advanced Open Water divers comfortable with longer bottom times and deco procedures. We’d suggest going in the morning; the light filters down beautifully through the mast, casting eerie shadows. It’s a dive that feels like stepping back in time, with just enough marine life to make it feel alive.
