The JUA wreck off Zakynthos is a solid choice for divers looking for a slice of history under the waves. This yacht went down in rough seas back in 1976, and she’s been sitting on the seabed ever since, a real testament to the power of the Ionian. We typically find her well-colonised with schooling fish and some sizable groupers sheltering in the superstructure. While the maximum depth is a hefty 50 metres, much of the interesting exploration happens shallower. It’s a rewarding dive for those comfortable with deeper profiles, offering a peek into a moment frozen in time.
