Marathonissi - Zakynthos & Ionian Islands

Marathonissi offers a relaxed dive, suitable for newer divers or those looking for an easy afternoon. We've seen loggerhead turtles here, often resting on the sandy bottom or swimming past. The walls have some decent sponge growth, and you'll spot plenty of wrasse and damselfish flitting about. It's a pleasant enough spot for a couple of tanks, especially if you're staying nearby.
