Octopus Reef is a reef dive where divers can encounter dolphins, ocean sunfish (mola mola), sea turtles and sperm whales.
Octopus Reef in Zakynthos lives up to its name, with plenty of resident octopuses tucked into crevices and under rocks. It’s a gentle reef dive, generally calm and shallow, making it a good choice for newer divers or those looking for a relaxed exploration. Keep an eye out for nudibranchs on the sponges too. We'd suggest going in the morning before any boat traffic picks up.
