Cassamicciola, near Ischia, offers a calm dive along a sloping volcanic reef. You'll find a decent scattering of Mediterranean wrasse and sea bream, with octopuses often tucked into the rocky crevices if you look closely. It's a straightforward site, good for a relaxed dive after a morning exploring the island, especially for newer divers or those who prefer gentler conditions.
