RUDY - Naples & Campania

The Rudy wreck, sitting shallow at a maximum depth of 4 metres, is a real character. This motor vessel, run aground in bad weather and abandoned, now lies broken on the seabed, its steel hull twisted and open. We found it a surprisingly engaging spot for a leisurely dive, especially for those looking to spend time exploring a wreck without deep decompression limits. Light filters through the gaps in the hull, illuminating schools of small damselfish darting in and out, while moray eels often peer from shadowed crevices. It’s a site that really makes you appreciate how quickly the sea reclaims what's lost, transforming a ship into a living reef.
