Canyon - Portofino & Liguria

The Canyon site near Portofino is exactly what it sounds like, a deep cut in the rock that offers a dramatic wall dive. You'll descend alongside steep faces, often spotting red gorgonians clinging to the rock and the occasional lobster tucked into crevices. This site is best suited for divers comfortable with depth and perhaps a drift, as currents can pick up. It's a nice change from some of the more open reef dives in the area.
