With 70+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, dolphins, humpback whales, mobula rays (devil rays) and oceanic whitetip sharks - Canyon Terra offers some of Portofino & Liguria's richest diving. Water ranges 14-27°C, warmest July, August, September.
Canyon Terra offers a gentle dive, dropping to around 29 metres in the Portofino Marine Protected Area. We found the site best for divers who enjoy exploring rock formations and the smaller critters that shelter among them. Look closely for nudibranchs and small crabs tucked into the crevices; the larger pelagics are usually elsewhere. It’s a good intermediate option when you want a relaxed dive without strong currents.
