Dropping down at Chiesa di San Giorgio, you’ll find yourself on a gently sloping reef, typical of the Ligurian coast. It’s a pleasant, easy dive, usually with mild currents, making it a good choice for newer divers or those looking for a relaxed afternoon. We often spot schools of Salema here, sometimes with the odd Painted Comber darting between them. Keep an eye out for the delicate pink sea fans and the occasional flash of scarlet coral against the rock. It's not the most dramatic site in the area, but it delivers a consistently enjoyable Mediterranean dive.
