EA - Portofino & Liguria
EA is a charming little cutter wreck, lying upright on the seabed off Portofino. At 60 metres, it’s definitely one for the experienced tech divers, but the reward is a remarkably intact vessel. We found the wheelhouse particularly interesting, with some of the instruments still visible through the silt. Over the years, the wreck has become a home for a good variety of Mediterranean critters – look for lobsters tucked into crevices and moray eels peeking from the hold. It’s a peaceful dive, often with good visibility, making it a great choice for those looking for a relaxed deep wreck exploration.
