Elefante Bianco
Why dive here
With 70+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, dolphins, humpback whales, mobula rays (devil rays) and oceanic whitetip sharks - Elefante Bianco offers some of Portofino & Liguria's richest diving. Water ranges 14-27°C, warmest July, August, September.
Elefante Bianco offers a solid dive for those exploring Portofino. We found a good mix of classic Mediterranean reef fish and some decent gorgonian growth clinging to the walls. It's a reliable spot if you're looking for a relaxed dive with consistent conditions rather than anything too dramatic. Good for a second dive or an easy morning out.
