Punta Chiappa Levante - Portofino & Liguria

Punta Chiappa Levante is a good spot if you’re diving the Portofino area, particularly when the westerly winds pick up. We often drop here to find shelter, and it’s a reliable backup. The wall starts shallow, maybe five meters, then slopes down gently. You’ll find plenty of corbs darting around, and we’ve regularly spotted conger eels tucked into the rocky crevices. Keep an eye out for dusky groupers patrolling the deeper sections. It’s a pretty relaxed dive, good for a second tank or just a calm afternoon.
