Scoglio delgi Altari
Why dive here
With 70+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, dolphins, humpback whales, mobula rays (devil rays) and oceanic whitetip sharks - Scoglio delgi Altari offers some of Portofino & Liguria's richest diving. Water ranges 14-27°C, warmest July, August, September.
Scoglio degli Altari offers a straightforward dive along a rocky reef. We’ve found barracuda often school here, especially in the late afternoons, and there are nudibranchs if you keep an eye on the walls. It’s a solid choice for a second dive of the day or when you’re looking for something less demanding. Visibility can vary, but it’s generally decent.
