With 70+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, dolphins, humpback whales, mobula rays (devil rays) and oceanic whitetip sharks - Scoglio Ferale offers some of Portofino & Liguria's richest diving. Water ranges 14-27°C, warmest July, August, September.
Scoglio Ferale is a gentle entry point, perfect for newer divers getting comfortable with the Portofino conditions. The main draw here is the schooling fish, often fusiliers and damselfish, which congregate around the rocks. We often find nudibranchs clinging to the walls, too. It’s a pleasant, relaxed dive, ideal for those wanting an easy afternoon in the water.
