Secca dell'Isuela - Portofino & Liguria
Secca dell'Isuela, tucked into the Portofino marine park, gives you a solid taste of Mediterranean pinnacles. We usually drop onto the main rock, which starts around 12 meters, and then you can trace its shape down towards 30 meters or so. You'll often find groups of salema hanging out, and we've seen pink sea fans at depth, though they're not as abundant as some other spots. Keep an eye out for conger eels tucked into the crevices, and the occasional common spiny lobster peeking out. It’s a good, reliable dive for those who appreciate the subtle beauty of rocky reefs, perfect for a relaxed morning out.
