OMEGA - Sardinia

The Omega wreck off Tavolara Island is a good dive for those who appreciate history and artificial reefs. This motor vessel, sunk in 1974 after striking rocks in rough seas, now rests at 20 meters, broken but still largely recognisable. We’ve found moray eels tucked into the engine room and large schools of damselfish flitting through the superstructure. It's a fairly straightforward dive, no strong currents usually, making it a solid choice for divers comfortable with wrecks but not looking for anything too challenging.
