SANTA CATERINA - Sardinia

Santa Caterina offers a very shallow wreck dive, sitting at just four metres. It's a dangerous site, with jagged metal and a broken hull, so careful buoyancy is essential. The lack of depth means plenty of light penetrates, revealing the rust and the small Mediterranean species that have made it home – think blennies and perhaps a moray eel tucked into a crevice. It’s a site for those keen on wreck photography, or a quick, easy second dive.
