Protected Area
Arcipelago delle Egadi - area marina e terrestre
Why dive here
With 60+ marine species recorded in the area - including dolphins, sea turtles and sperm whales - Galeotta offers some of Ustica's richest wall diving. Water ranges 15-29°C, warmest July, August, September.
Galeotta, on Ustica’s north side, is an easy dive, usually calm. We often see schooling damselfish here, sometimes barracuda off in the blue. It’s a good spot for a relaxed second dive or for newer divers getting comfortable with the island’s topography.
