Grotta dei Gamberi, or Shrimp Grotto, lives up to its name. We’re talking about a cavern absolutely packed with Mediterranean slipper lobsters and - you guessed it - shrimp. Slip into the grotto and your torch beam will pick out countless pairs of eyes reflecting back from every crevice. Beyond the crustaceans, you’ll find walls draped with bright sunset cup corals and bushy corals, plus the occasional dusky grouper lurking in the deeper sections. It’s a relatively shallow, calm dive, great for photographers looking for macro subjects or anyone who enjoys exploring a gentle cavern environment.
