Why dive here
With 60+ marine species recorded in the area - including dolphins, sea turtles and sperm whales - Le Piramidi offers some of Ustica's richest diving. Water ranges 15-29°C, warmest July, August, September.
Le Piramidi in Ustica is a solid Mediterranean dive, good for a relaxed afternoon. You’ll drop down along a series of rock formations, hence the name, that create some interesting swim-throughs and overhangs. Keep an eye out for dusky groupers lurking in the shadows and painted combers flitting about. We’ve spotted ornate wrasse and even a few cowfish here on quieter days. It’s a pretty straightforward dive, suitable for most experience levels, especially if you’re looking for something gentle after a morning with stronger currents elsewhere.
