With 60+ marine species recorded in the area - including dolphins, sea turtles and sperm whales - Naxos pier offers some of Ustica's richest reef diving. Water ranges 15-29°C, warmest July, August, September.
Drop down from the Naxos pier in Ustica and you'll find a relaxed dive, good for getting your buoyancy dialed in. It’s mostly sand and rubble, but we often spot octopus in the crevices and small scorpionfish blending in. If you're after a chill afternoon dive, or want to test new gear, it’s a decent option, though not one for the logbook's 'big hits' section.
