Zaovinsko jezero - Autoservis

Zaovinsko jezero, or 'Autoservis' as local divers call it, is an interesting spot if you find yourself in the Budva & Bar area and fancy something a bit different. It’s a freshwater lake dive, which already sets it apart from the Adriatic’s usual fare. The main draw here is the collection of old vehicles, mostly cars, resting on the silty bottom at around 26 metres. It’s easy enough for beginners; the lack of current makes for a relaxed dive, and the visibility can be surprisingly good on a calm day. We'd suggest it for divers looking to tick off a unique site, or those keen on underwater photography with a slightly unusual subject.
