Cueva de las Palomas in Al Hoceima is a pleasant spot for a relaxed dive, especially if you're keen on exploring an accessible cavern. We find the depth tops out at 18 metres, making it quite comfortable for newer divers or those looking for a chilled-out afternoon. Inside the cave, the light play can be quite nice, filtering in through the entrance, illuminating the rocky formations. You'll likely spot some crabs scuttling about and smaller reef fish darting between crevices. It's not a dive that's going to blow your mind with massive pelagics, but for a gentle introduction to overhead environments in the Med, it absolutely hits the mark.
