HERMANOS ARIAS CAPARROS - Al Hoceima

The Hermanos Arias Caparros is a fishing vessel, sunk in 1992, and she's settled perfectly upright in just 7 metres of water. We love a shallow wreck, especially one that’s still quite intact, and this one delivers. You can poke around the wheelhouse, peer into the engine room, and imagine the last moments before she went down. This is a wreck that practically begs for long bottom times and slow exploration, especially good for newer wreck divers or those who just want to chill out and observe. Shoals of damselfish shimmer around the superstructure, and if you look closely, you’ll spot nudibranchs clinging to the metalwork. We’ve even seen small octopus tucked into crevices. Conditions here are generally pretty calm, so it’s a lovely, relaxed dive, ideal for a second dive of the day or when you just want something easy and interesting.
