With 140+ marine species recorded in the area - including dolphins, ocean sunfish (mola mola), octopuses, sea turtles and sperm whales - Peñon de Alhucemas offers some of Al Hoceima's richest wall diving. Water ranges 16-23°C, warmest July, August, September.
Peñon de Alhucemas offers a dive along dramatic underwater cliffs, dropping down to 30 metres. We’ve spotted loggerhead turtles cruising past and occasionally a cowfish tucked into a crevice.
