SALGAR - Al Hoceima
Salgar is a small fishing vessel wreck, sunk back in '78 after hitting another wreck in Cadiz Bay, then attempts to refloat failed. Now, she rests upright in just 8m of water. It’s a great spot for newer divers looking to get their first real wreck experience, or for those who just enjoy a relaxed shallow dive. You’ll find schools of juvenile fish darting through the superstructure, and often a few inquisitive octopuses tucked away in crevices. We’d suggest going in the morning before any wind picks up, when the light really makes the most of the short dive time.
