ELDORADO - Stavanger & Rogaland

Eldorado isn’t just a wreck, it’s a time capsule lying upright at 23 metres. We love how intact she is, almost like she just decided to take a permanent nap on the seabed. You’ll find the wheelhouse still standing, a great spot to peer inside and imagine the old fishing days. The hull is draped in a thick carpet of plumose anemones, their white tentacles swaying gently in the subtle current, making the old steel glow under your torch. What really makes Eldorado special is the sense of history that hangs heavy in the water around her. While there are no specific species recorded, we've seen plenty of cod and pollack darting through the superstructure, and a surprising number of crab tucked into every nook and cranny. It's an easy dive, perfect for wreck enthusiasts who appreciate the atmosphere and the chance to explore without deep penetration. We’d suggest going on a calm day; the visibility in the fjords can be variable, but when it's good, Eldorado truly shines.
