FJORDING - Stavanger & Rogaland

Diving the *Fjording* is less about coral and more about chilling with history. This old motor vessel, sitting upright at 35 metres, is our kind of wreck. We love how she’s settled into the fjord’s embrace, the wheelhouse still largely intact and tempting you for a peek. The currents here are generally mild, making it a surprisingly relaxed dive for a wreck at this depth. You'll see plenty of the ship’s structure, but keep an eye out for the marine life that’s made it home. Nudibranchs crawl over the decks, and we’ve often spotted the occasional scorpionfish tucked into a shadowy corner. Visibility can vary, as it often does in the fjords, but on a good day, the light filtering down from the surface gives the wreck a really moody, evocative feel. It’s a dive for those who appreciate wrecks with a story, and who don’t mind a bit of a chill in the water.
