LYN - Stavanger & Rogaland

The LYN wreck, resting at a shallow 3 metres, makes for an interesting, if brief, dive in the Stavanger region. What she lacks in depth, she makes up for in accessible character. We've found the hull still largely intact, a skeletal frame now home to plenty of small crabs scuttling amongst the plates and juvenile fish darting through the remains of the wheelhouse. It’s a gentle introduction to wreck diving, perfect for newer divers looking to get close to some history without the demands of deeper sites. Visibility can shift quickly here, so picking a calm day after a dry spell is always our advice for the best view.
