OBO - Stavanger & Rogaland
OBO is a solid wreck dive off Stavanger, a former motor vessel that went down in '72. She was on her way to the breakers when the North Sea claimed her, leaving us a playground at 24 metres. We’ve found her remarkably intact for a ship that’s been down over 50 years, with much of the superstructure still there to explore. Look for the large propeller, it’s often covered in anemones and a good spot to find a wolfish or two tucked away. Visibility here can vary with the season, but when it’s good, you can really appreciate the scale of the wreck. It's a great option for wreck enthusiasts who appreciate a bit of history beneath the waves.
