OYGAR - Stavanger & Rogaland

Oygår isn't one of those wrecks you have to fight current to see. This old ferry, just 30.5m long, sits shallow, almost beached after it sprang a leak back in '76 while working on the Condeep platforms. It's an easy dive, often good for a second tank or when you're just looking for a relaxed explore. The bow points towards shore, and you can swim right through some of the cabins, now home to plump wrasse and nudibranchs. Visibility can swing a bit here, but even on an average day, the light plays nicely through the open superstructure. It’s a good one for photographers or anyone keen on a slow, intimate wreck dive.
