REOL - Stavanger & Rogaland

REOL sits quietly near Klepp Lykt, a lighter vessel that ran aground in a 1974 storm. We find her fairly broken up, but the scattered sections of hull and superstructure make for an interesting rummage. Visibility here can be a bit of a mixed bag, especially after a good blow, but on a clear day, the light plays nicely through the gaps. You’ll spot the usual suspects sheltering in the wreckage – cod, wrasse, sometimes a lurking pollock. It’s a good one for a relaxed dive, maybe a second dip of the day, rather than a showstopper.
