STALHOLM (POSSIBLY) - Stavanger & Rogaland

Stalholm, a motor vessel that went down in 1975, rests south-west of Feistein Lighthouse. We’ve found her at around 29 metres, which puts her firmly in the advanced diver category, especially given the typically chilly Norwegian waters. It’s a proper wreck dive, with plenty of character. You can still make out the superstructure and cargo holds, offering some nice swim-throughs if you're comfortable with overhead environments and have the right training. Expect the usual suspects to have moved in: cod, pollock, and plenty of those colourful nudibranchs clinging to the metalwork, a vibrant contrast to the steel. The visibility here can be decent, but it's Norway, so be prepared for a bit of murk and a healthy current.
