STOKKFJORD - Stavanger & Rogaland
Stokkfjørd is a shallow wreck that’s just plain fun to explore. It’s a fishing vessel, capsized back in ‘72 after a collision, and now sits in about 15 metres. You can swim right through the wheelhouse, which is pretty intact, and poke around the engine room if you’re comfortable with overhead environments. What we really enjoy is the way the cod and pollock have made themselves at home here; they’re often hanging out in the darker corners. It’s a good spot for newer wreck divers, or anyone looking for an easy-going dive where you can really take your time.
