Praia da Baleeira is a nice, easy entry point if you're looking for a simple dip in the Algarve. At a shallow 7 meters, it’s a brilliant spot for newer divers to practice buoyancy or for a relaxed shore dive. You'll often find a variety of small fish darting amongst the rocky seabed, with plenty of crabs tucked into crevices if you look closely. We’d suggest going on a calm morning before the beach gets too busy, giving you the clearest views of what’s around.
