Rocha Negra - Algarve & Berlengas
Rocha Negra, a shallow site off the Algarve coast, is a solid choice for shaking off the rust or getting new divers comfortable. At a consistent 14 meters, it’s easy to manage your buoyancy and take your time exploring. We often find small octopus tucked into crevices and schools of ornate wrasse darting around the rocky seafloor. It’s not going to blow your mind with massive pelagics, but for a relaxed dive with decent visibility and some classic Mediterranean reef life, it’s a perfectly pleasant way to spend an hour underwater.
