Rondão Alvo sits at a comfortable 19m, making it a good choice for intermediate divers looking for a relaxed exploration. We found the bottom here to be a mix of sand and scattered rock formations, providing cover for smaller reef fish and the occasional octopus peeking out from a crevice. It’s not a site that overwhelms with big pelagics, but rather rewards a slower pace, letting you spot gobies, blennies, and sea slugs that camouflage well against the rock. The calm conditions often found here make it perfect for photographers or those just looking to log some pleasant bottom time in the Algarve.
